Black ink will turn a dark gray color in areas where it overlaps Bright Gold or Bright Platinum ink, and will turn matte instead of glossy.
Coated Stainless
Please note that prints on this ware may take on the texture of the coated surface; as a result, the print edges may lose some clarity. We recommend keeping your art files simple on coated stainless steel products for best print result.
Fine Detail
Fine detail may fill in or be lost when printed.
Mug Speckling
Speckling of mug may be able to be seen through ink when printed. Small text could be difficult to read due to speckling.
Seams
If the ware has prominent seams, print imperfections may occur where art overlaps the seams.
Registration Shifts
Registration tolerance for multi-color prints is 1/16”. This means each printed color may shift relative to the rest of the colors by 1/16”. For best print result, try to design your art in such a way that color shifts will not be detrimental to the design.
Taper/Curvature
Art may distort due to taper/curvature of glass. This is most noticeable with perfect geometric shapes such as circles, squares, or rectangles. We do our best to compensate for the taper/curve of the glass with counteractive warps, but the final printed shape may not be perfect.
