In 2015 Michael Calhoun had a dream of bringing a brewery to his hometown, Red River NM. Every minute since then has been spent making that dream come true. Red River Brewing Company, founded in 2018, is tucked away in the Northern mountains of New Mexico. Michael and Sharon Calhoun’s love of a beer and passion for hospitality was the only spark needed to startup this local watering hole where folks gather for great music, conversation, and most importantly great beer and spirits. The brewery building itself is built out to mirror the aesthetic of an old mining town, while the beer and food names hint some of the local legends and specials.
