Zombies, ghosts, skeletons, oh my! Spooky season is here, and we’re ready for a ghoul time. Every year, Grandstand dares anyone who is brave enough to enter the Can-O-Lantern competition. Amateurs and professionals alike are invited to submit their best spooktacular Can Glass design. The winner receives wicked awesome Can Glasses featuring their fang-tastic design just in time for some Halloween boos.
This year it was harder than ever to choose a Can-O-Lantern winner. From classic horror characters to new monstrous creations that still haunt our dreams, we received some unBOOlievable designs. But only one Can Glass can reign this Halloween. A terrifyingly playful design full of unimaginable monsters and vivid detail, our 2018 Can-O-Lantern winner is Indiana City Brewing for their design, “Cronenberg.”
Cronenberg was created for their New England style IPA, Cronenberg Creatures, the 7th release of their Craft Brew Doodle Crew series. The collaborative group, the Craft Doodle Crew, is a collection of local Indianapolis artists whose art is featured in Indiana City’s highly acclaimed beer series. Congratulations to Indiana City Brewing and the Craft Brew Doodle Crew, for a horrifying good design!
The glasses will be printed with Grandstand’s Full Color Digital Printing, allowing a massive print area all the way from the lip to the bottom of the glass, with eco-friendly ink. This glassware printing process will capture all the detail and colors of the Cronenberg, making for a genuinely frightful drinking experience. Have a Happy Halloween!
