Screen printing on Apparel and Glassware is our wheelhouse. It's what we've done since 1988. Screen printing is a printing technique that utilizes a stencil to deposit ink onto a substrate. Each color of a design has its own screen. Screens are 'registered' to one another to achieve multi-color decorations.
Grandstand has capability to screen print on over 300 different glass shapes. We have up to six color screen print capability on a wide assortment of glassware and up to ten color capability on hundreds of apparel items. With our combination of state of the art and traditional equipment, we have the flexibility to provide custom decoration services on orders as small as 48 pieces to projects as large as 500,000 pieces. We combine a variety of processes to achieve the best print result, including organic solvent based and UV inks, ceramic enamel inks, precious metals, plastisol, soft hand and special effects techniques.
We have a seasoned staff of graphic designers to assist with your design and recommend a strategy for the best print result. Our production team is led by veterans of the industry, folks who have been pulling squeegees for over 20 years. If you are new to custom screen printing or have questions about our process, please read through our FAQ or reach out via live chat or phone.

Full Color Digital printing utilizes ink jet technology to print directly onto three dimensional glass shapes. Since it does not require screens, digital has fewer limitations than traditional screen print when bringing complex design work into the physical world.

Halo and Banding are decoration techniques that apply precious metals (Bright Gold or Bright Platinum) to the lip or rim of glassware. This type of premium add-on is often favored for anniverseries, special events or as a way to set your project apart. We utilize 18 karat conflict-free precious metals in our Halo and Banding processes.
Depending on the order and artwork profiles, we employ manual brush techniques or automated machinery to apply Halos and Bands to glassware. We have capability to decorate orders as small as 48 pieces to projects as large as 200,000 pieces.
Our Halo and Banding team has over 100 years of cummulative experience in this decoration technique. If you are new to Halo and Banding or have questions about our process, please read through our FAQ or reach out via live chat or phone.
Nucleation uses a laser to etch a design into the inside bottom of a glass. This creates minor uneven surfaces in the glass which serve to promote carbonation…it makes your drink more bubbly. Nucleation provides an additional branding opportunity with both form and function.
Laser Etching uses a laser to etch a design into stainless steel travel mugs, glassware, wooden signs and several other substrates. This technique is more consistent and repeatable than traditional engraving which uses a stencil and sand-blasting to decorate an item.
Grandstand has the capability to apply Laser Etching to a variety of items from 48 to 10,000 pieces.
