Ballast Point Brewing is one of San Diego's premiere breweries. The name comes from the point where Juan Rodriguez Cabrillo first set foot in California. Located on the Point Loma Peninsula, Ballast Point is considered the gateway to San Diego Harbor.

Yellowtail Pale Ale Kolsch is made with 5% wheat, Liberty & Tettnanger hops, and fermented with a yeast from Cologne, Germany.
